Bank of Canada Holds Key Interest Rate at 2.75% – July 2025 Update

On July 30th, 2025, The Bank of Canada announced that it is maintaining its target for the overnight rate at 2.75%, with the Bank Rate at 3% and the deposit rate at 2.70%.

The Bank also released its Monetary Policy Report (MPR) – July 2025, providing an in-depth look at current economic conditions and forecasts.
